Last updated: 20 October 2026

DINT Global Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202339147D) ("DINT", "we", "us", "our") operates dintkorea.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal data when you visit the Site, create an account, place an order, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").

DINT is a company incorporated in Singapore, and we handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (the "PDPA"). Where you are located outside Singapore, you may also have rights under the data protection laws of your own country, as described in the "International Customers" section below.

By using the Services or submitting your personal data to us, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Personal Data We Collect

Information you provide to us

  • Account information — name, email address, password and account preferences
  • Order and delivery information — name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and order details
  • Payment information — payment confirmation and transaction records. Card and other payment credentials are entered directly with our payment processors; we do not store your full card number
  • Customer service information — the content of enquiries, return or exchange requests, reviews and other messages you send us
  • Marketing preferences — whether you have opted in to receive newsletters or promotional messages

Information collected automatically

When you browse the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, items added to your cart, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies (see section 9).

Information from third parties

We may receive personal data about you from our service providers, such as payment processors (for example, payment status or fraud checks) and couriers (for example, delivery status).

Providing certain information is necessary for us to process your order or maintain your account. If you choose not to provide it, we may be unable to provide some of the Services.

2. How We Use Your Personal Data

We collect, use and disclose your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Processing and fulfilling your orders, including payment, shipping, customs clearance, returns, exchanges and refunds
  • Creating and managing your account
  • Responding to your enquiries and providing customer support
  • Sending you service communications, such as order confirmations, shipping updates and account notices
  • Sending you marketing communications about our products, promotions and events, where you have consented to receive them
  • Improving the Site and the Services, including analysing how customers use the Site
  • Detecting and preventing fraud, unauthorised transactions and misuse of the Services
  • Complying with our legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations, and responding to lawful requests from authorities
  • Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims

We will not use your personal data for a purpose materially different from those listed above without first notifying you and, where required by law, obtaining your consent.

3. Marketing Communications

We will only send you marketing messages if you have opted in, for example by subscribing to our newsletter or ticking the relevant box at checkout. You can opt out at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email, updating your account settings, or contacting us at the address in section 13. Opting out of marketing will not affect service communications relating to your orders or account.

4. Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent to our collection, use or disclosure of your personal data at any time by giving us reasonable notice using the contact details in section 13. We will process your request within a reasonable time and inform you of the likely consequences of the withdrawal. Please note that if you withdraw consent, we may be unable to continue providing certain Services to you, such as completing a pending order or maintaining your account. Withdrawal of consent does not affect our right to retain or use personal data where this is permitted or required by law.

5. Disclosure of Personal Data

We do not sell your personal data. We disclose personal data only as necessary for the purposes described above, to the following categories of recipients:

  • E-commerce platform and hosting — Shopify, which hosts the Site and processes orders on our behalf
  • Payment processors — to process payments and refunds and to help prevent fraud
  • Logistics and fulfilment partners — couriers, postal services, warehouses and customs brokers (for example, DHL Express and EMS) to deliver your orders and handle returns
  • Marketing, analytics and customer service tools — to send emails, measure Site performance and manage customer enquiries
  • Our affiliated companies — within the DINT group, for order fulfilment, customer service and business operations
  • Professional advisers — such as auditors, accountants and lawyers, under duties of confidentiality
  • Authorities — government agencies, customs authorities, courts or law enforcement where required or permitted by law
  • Business transfers — a buyer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business

Our service providers are required to protect your personal data and to use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

6. Transfers Outside Singapore

As an international online store, we and our service providers may transfer, store and process your personal data in countries outside Singapore, including the Republic of Korea, where our products are sourced and dispatched, and other countries where our service providers operate. Where we transfer personal data outside Singapore, we will take appropriate steps to ensure that the recipient provides a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA, for example through contractual safeguards.

7. Retention of Personal Data

We retain your personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by law. In general:

  • Order, payment and transaction records are kept for at least five (5) years to meet accounting, tax and legal requirements
  • Account information is kept while your account remains active, and deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after you close your account, unless we need to keep it for legal reasons
  • Customer service and dispute records are kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter and any related claims
  • Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent

When personal data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or destroy it, or anonymise it so that it can no longer be associated with you.

8. Protection of Personal Data

We make reasonable security arrangements to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, and from the loss of any storage medium on which it is stored. These include encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls limited to authorised personnel, and the use of reputable service providers with their own security safeguards. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as required under the PDPA.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site (for example, to keep items in your cart and keep you signed in), remember your preferences, analyse Site traffic, and, with service providers, show you relevant advertising. For details of the cookies used by our platform provider, please see Shopify's Cookie Policy.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through the cookie preferences banner on the Site. Disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the Site, including your ability to check out.

10. Access and Correction

You may request:

  • Access to the personal data we hold about you, and information about how it has been used or disclosed within the past year
  • Correction of any error or omission in your personal data

You can update much of your information directly in your account. For other requests, please contact us using the details in section 13. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible, and generally within thirty (30) days. If we are unable to respond within that time, we will let you know when we expect to be able to do so. We may charge a reasonable fee to cover the cost of responding to an access request, and will inform you of the fee in advance.

Please help us keep your personal data accurate and up to date by informing us of any changes.

11. Children

The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

12. International Customers

If you are located outside Singapore, the data protection laws of your country (such as the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, or the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan) may give you additional rights, such as the right to request deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, or to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. We will honour such requests to the extent required by the laws that apply to you. Please contact us using the details below to make a request.

Where we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.
